A:You look brown. Where have you been?

A:你怎么晒黑了。去哪儿了?

B:I went to Thailand during Spring Festival. I really wanted to get away from Beijing's cold weather to somewhere warm. So Thailand seemed an obvious choice.

B:我春节的时候去泰国了。北京实在太冷了，我想找个暖和的地方。显然，泰国是个不错的选择。

A:Where did you go?

A:你都去什么地方了?

B:I went to Chiang Mai which is in the north. It is very popular with tourists as it is close to the hill country where you can go trekking.

B:我去了北部的清迈。那里非常吸引游客，因为它靠近丘陵地带，你可以徒步旅行。

A:So did you?

A:你走了吗?

B:No. I only had a few days so I decided to go to the Golden Triangle.

A:Golden Triangle! What is that?

B:It is where three countries meet Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. It is famous for its drug trade involving opium.

A:I hope you didn't buy anything you shouldn't have?

B:Of course not. One evening I went to a kind of cabaret and there were several pretty girls singing and dancing. At the end they posed for pictures topless!

A:I hope you took some pictures?

B:Sure did. Here, look.
