Green beans, lettuce, peas, strawberries, flowers...I saw all of these today at the Farmer's Market. My mom says the farmers' grow these things at home. They bring them to the market to sell to people. We bought lots of green beans and strawberries. I asked one farmer if he had any tomatoes I could taste. He said they won't be ripe until later in the summer. If we come back when they're ripe, he'll give me one to taste. Another farmer had some purple fruit I had never seen before. I asked her what they were and she said "They're plums." Guess what? I got one to eat for free. Why? Because she said I was WAY TOO CUTE! Mommy and Daddy didn't get any free tastes at all.

今天在农夫市集里，我看到了绿豆、生菜、豌豆、草莓、鲜花……妈咪说农夫在他们家里种这些东西。然后他们把它们带到市集上卖。我们买了很多的绿豆和草莓。我问一位农夫，看看是不是有蕃茄可以让我尝尝。他说蕃茄要等到夏天才会成熟。如果我们下次来时，是它们成熟的季节，那他会让我试吃喔。另一位农夫卖一些我以前没看过的紫色果实。我问她那是什么，她说：“那是李子。”你知道吗?我有吃到一颗免费的李子耶。为什么呢?因为她说我长得实在是太可爱啦!妈咪和爸爸都没有得吃哦!
