Jeff: I have some bad news, honey.

Lillian: What happened?

Jeff: My car just broke down.

Lillian: What happened to it?

Jeff: It overheated and stopped running.I need to get the radiator fixed.

Lillian: That's terrible. How much is this going to cost?

Jeff: Either several hundred dollars, or I'll have to buy a new car altogether.

Lillian: Why would you have to buy a new car? Can't they fix it?
