1.雅思阅读难主要是文章之长、学术性之强及生词之多导致的。学术性强意味着有些句子结构复杂，学生如果没有扎实的语法基础很多时候是很难对付这些句子的。这一特点也决定了很多考生会觉得时间不够。这就是大家会认为雅思阅读难点之一，童鞋们可以在书店或者图书馆收集一下各类的雅思阅读材料，总结一下雅思考试阅读技巧，这是很有必要的。

2.根据雅思阅读真题来看，近两年阅读题型的变化也增加了很大的难度--------图表题的减少、大意题和是非无题的增加使得考生光靠技巧是绝对行不通的;学生很多时候必须能完全理解某些句子才能准确答题。

3.从《剑9》来看，无论是哪一种题型似乎都存在大量的转述。我们知道转述的形式很多，可以通过不同词性、同义词、双重否定、近义词组、不同的句式和语态等进行转述。这一点意味着没有一定的词汇量想在阅读中考高分是很难的。

原则：

1.雅思阅读中专用名词国家、人名、公司名等比较好按规范常识大写首字母。其余小写。

2.如果全部小写或全部大写，不会扣分。如：Australia写成australia或AUSTRALIA都可以。

3.拼错当然扣分。

解释：

1.答案大小写在雅思打分中无关。一定记住雅思考试是学以致用。如果阅读中让你拼写：Hyde Park;这道题的留学生活场景可能是：一个朋友约你在Hyde Park见面，你不知道Hyde的拼写。他重复：That's H-Y-D-E。于是你用手机或本子记下了hyde。然后上网输入hyde park查找线路。所以该词的大小写根本不影响你的交流生存能力。你知道是hyde park，并能拼写正确，就拥有了这种留学生活能力。

英国人不是吹毛求疵的，你能拼写对，你就能找到这个地方，就给你分，让你出国。否则，就别出国啦，告诉你一个人名，你记错了，多半找不到这个人的。人名的大小写我不管，告诉你了名字，你要能找他到就行。留学生在海外生活中会体会到雅思听力的学以致用性，也会发现你在生活学习中做笔记时根本不会纠结于大小写这个问题。能正确写下就搞定。

2.既然大小写无关，只看正确性。真经派就从来都不建议全部大写。如果你非要全大写，我建议你还不如全小写，更快更正确。因为考生对全部大写的单词反应要慢一点，考场上耗时易错。听力考试哪怕慢半秒也可能跟不上节奏，而且全部大写的单词不仔细拼错后你很难察觉。另外，阅卷者看到这种全大写也很头疼的。

3.我相信没有人会随意大小写，把Hyde写成hYDe。理论上不会扣分。但阅卷者很大可能一眼不能认识这个单词，给你算拼写错扣分。你去复议，官方表面上会说：好吧，得分。背地里会说：神经有问题，比较好别把他放到我们国家来。

结论：

1.你根本不必纠结阅读中大小写问题，或自设障碍全部大写。阅读直接抄原文单词居多，真题中有少量需要变换词性，大小写同样无关。

2.真经派既不建议你全部小写，也不建议你习惯于全部大写。将来在海外求学，论文中该大写的字母没有大写教授会不高兴;同样，每个单词都大写的论文教授会直接打回来。通过雅思备考，养成最规范的英语书写习惯多好啊，一举两得，学以致用。而且，什么时候该大写，这很难吗?

Candidates are tested on their ability to identify main ideas, supportingideas, writer’s opinions and specific information.

How long should candidates spend on each passage?

Candidates have 60 minutes to read through three passages and answer 40questions. Candidates are advised to spend about 20 minutes on each passage.Candidates should make sure that they do not waste time worrying about itemsthey can’t answer and that they use their time sensibly to read through whatthey can and answer as many questions as possible.

2. How do candidates record their answers?
