You should see all the beautiful fall leaves on the trees. At school today, we meandered around the playground to collect leaves. We had to meander, (which means walk slowly), so we could pick up leaves. Mrs. S. likes to teach us new vocabulary words. We found red leaves, orange ones and yellow ones. Some of them are just starting to turn color. Back in class, we compared sizes, shapes and colors. We made a graph of the different colors. Mrs. S. says were doing math with leaves. Did you know you could learn about math by studying leaves? I'm sure glad the leaves fall off the trees in the fall. How would our teacher teach us math, if they didn't?

你应该看看所有美丽的秋叶。我们今天在学校，漫步在操场上收集树叶。我们得漫步，(指的是慢慢步行)，这样我们才能捡叶子。史太太喜欢教我们新的词汇。我们发现红色的树叶、橘色的树叶和黄色的树叶。其中有些才刚刚开始变色。回到课堂上，我们比较叶子的大小、形状和颜色。我们做了一张不同颜色的图表。史太太说我们正在用树叶上数学课喔。你知道可以用研究叶子来学数学吗?我很高兴叶子在秋天掉落。如果不是，我们老师要如何教我们数学啊?
