A:Hello.This is John Lee.May I speak to Mr. Owen?喂，我是约翰·李。可以让欧文先生接电话吗?

B:Hi,John.This is Owen speaking.I didn t recognize your voice.Sounds as if you re miles away.你好，约翰。我就是欧文。我没听出你的声音，听起来像是很远。

A:Oh,Mr Owen.Yes,the line isn t very good.I ll speak a bit louder.Is it any better?啊，欧文先生，是的，线路不太好。我说大点声音，这样好点吗?

A:Mr Owen,it looks as if I won t be able to keep the appointment we made.欧文先生，看来我不能如期赴约了。

B:That was to be Monday,wasn t it?是在周一吗?
