英语名词转译成汉语动词

广州朗阁雅思学习资讯 A.英语中大量具有动作意义或由动词变来的名词、动名词以及其他名词都可以转译成汉语动词，
例如:
1. I have great doubts about his ability as a doctor.
我对他作为一个医生的能力十分怀疑。

2. The writing of the experiment report took him three hours.
他写那份实验报告花了3小时。

3. The sight of the orphan always reminds me of her parents.
一见到那孤儿，我就想起她的父母。

4. The appearance of the book on the market caused a sensation.
这本书在市场上出现时，轰动一时。

5. The Security Council affirms that fulfillment of Charter principles requires the establishment of just and lasting peace in the Middle East.
安全理事会申明，履行联合国宪章原则需要在中东建立公正和持久的和平。
6. The doctor's extremely quick arrival and uncommonly careful examination of the patient brought about her very speedy recovery·
医生火速赶到，给病人极其仔细的检查，使病人很快就恢复了健康。。

就噪音而论，所需要的是对生活在噪音条件下的人进行研究。

B.英语中有些由动词加后缀 -er 构成的名词，如teacher教师，writer作家等，有时并不表示身份或职业，而是含有较强的动作意义。汉译时如找不到恰当的对应的名词，可以转译成动词。
1. She is quite a writer.
她确实很会写。
2. They are non-smokers.
他们不吸烟。
3. He is anything but a doctor.
他根本不懂医。

4. 1 am afraid I can't teach you chemistry. I think my little sister is a better teacher than I.
恐怕我不能教你化学。我想我的小妹比我教得好。

上述四例中的writer, non-smokers, doctor和teacher，如仍然译成“作家”“不抽烟的人”“医生”和“老师”就不能准确地表达原意，也不合乎汉语表达习惯。转译成动词后，意思就贴切了。

C.英语中由“动词+名词”构成的短语中表示动作的名词，可转译成汉语动词。
1. The elder brother takes care of brothers and sisters.
长兄照料弟弟妹妹。

2.Now more and more countries are beginning to make good use of the sea.
现在越来越多的国家正开始很好地利用海洋。
